TextSer

TextSer is tool for Markdown writers. It enables you to write markdown anywhere and turn it into styled text or publish it as website. Although TextSer is designed to work on its own, tight integration with DNoteIt markdown editor makes it nice and compact publishing system.
TextSer comes with powerful, yet easy to use Automator actions for generating HTML out of markdown documents.
Markdown anywhere

With TextSer you can write in markdown virtually anywhere. Select the text and turn it to a rich text format in-place. Use a word processor, email client or note-taking application of your choice. As TextSer fully supports AppleScript scriptability, you can easily turn it into markdown preview or publishing service for apps that do not support it on their own (e.g. BBEdit, EverNote, MS Word).
Publishing workflow

TextSer can work together with other apps to publish documents to the web. TextSer offers easy to use, yet very configurable way to create a publishing workflow using Automator actions. One common example is to use DNoteIt to write content for your web page or blog and then let TextSer transform it to HTML+CSS+images which is then hosted on the github.

Generate QR Code

Embedding QR code in to your slides is great way to enhance your presentation with on-line content. With TextSer, select a link (or any text for that matter) and paste in the QR code. That’s it.
